With Apple’s latest rollout of the iPhone 11, consumers are excited. As technology quickly continues to improve, we’re seeing faster connections, stronger battery life, and improved quality of images. But what exactly should you expect from Apple’s newest iPhone? We’ve pulled together a list of the 10 most important facts you should know about the latest model!
Number One: There Are Three Models. Apple is rolling out the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. They are basically the same with a few variations, with the biggest differences being steel or aluminum and two cameras or three.
Number Two: These Models Are All About The Camera. That’s right, this year, Apple is making the iPhones all about the cameras. Each iPhone 11 model has 12-megapixel wide-angle as well as an ultra-wide-angle. The iPhone 11 Pro has telephoto which gets up close and personal.
Number Three: Improved Battery Life. This year’s model has an impressively better battery life than previous iPhones, as well as faster speed and connection.
Number Four: The Release Date is September 20th. Preorders have already begun, having started on September 13th, and the newest iPhone models will be available starting on September 20th!
Number Five: The Price. The iPhone 11 will sell for $699, the Pro will sell for $999, and the Pro Max will sell for $1099.
Number Six: Slofie. Yep, you read that right. Apple is looking to trademark the phrase “Slofie“. With the newest iPhone, users will be able to take slow-motion videos in selfie mode – in other words – a ‘slofie’.
Number Seven: There Are New Colors. With this latest model (not including Pro) Apple has rolled out two new colors – green and purple. In total, there will be six available colors.
Number Eight: Night Mode. Night Mode can be used for low-light photography. In other words, expect higher quality night time photos!
Number Nine: There is no USB-C. With this latest model, there is no USB-C charging. The Pro model does come with an improved 18-watt charger which also includes lightning-to-USB-C cable, but the iPhone 11 model does not.
Number Ten: The Design is Very Similar to the XR. While there are a few major improvements with this latest iPhone, the design itself is virtually the same as the iPhone XR.
