Number One: Drew Barrymore Has Several Strange Allergies
The actress is allergic to bee stings, garlic, coffee and perfume. Garlic is the worst out of her allergies and requires her to carefully inspect every food item before Drew consumes it.
Number Two: Drew Barrymore Gave Up Vegetarianism
She is an on-an-off vegetarian. In 2011, she gave up the diet altogether: “I still don’t eat a ton of meat, and I don’t wear a ton of leather, but I just don’t put strict limitations on myself anymore.”
Number Three: Drew is a Beach Boys Fan
The Beach Boys is her all-time favorite band. She appeared in one of their videos, “Rock and Roll to the Rescue”, and sang of their songs in 50 First Dates. Other bands she loves are The Beatles, Coldplay, Daft Punk and Beck.
Number Four: She First Got Drunk at a Famous Party
Growing up in the show business, she was a very precocious child. Drew first got drunk at a party thrown to celebrate Rob Lowe’s birthday. She was only nine years old at the time. The actress became an alcoholic and drug addict shortly afterwards.
Number Five: Drew Barrymore is Bisexual
During an interview with Contact Music in 2003, Drew said that she likes women sexually and she has always considered herself bisexual. The celebrity also revealed to have dated several women when she was younger.
Number Six: She Introduced Jimmy Fallon to His Wife
Jimmy Fallon and Nancy Juvonen met thanks to Drew Barrymore. Juvonen is the co-owner of Barrymore’s film production company, Flower Films. At the time, Barrymore and Fallon were filming a movie together, and the actress brought Juvonen along on set one day. That’s how Fallon met the love of his life.
Number Seven: The Actress Was Meant to Be Sydney Prescott
She was offered the main role in the 1990’s slasher film Scream. The actress turned it down because she thought it would be more fun to be killed off in the opening sequence.
Number Eight: Spielberg’s Shady Present to Her
Steven Spielberg, who happens to be Barrymore’s Godfather, gave her a quilt for her birthday, along with a note that read “cover yourself up.” The present included a retouched image of Barrymore’s Playboy photoshoot with fake clothes on.

Barrymore and Courtney Love were really close friends at the time Frances Bean was born. However, the two drifted apart from each other and Barrymore lost touch with her granddaughter, which she deeply regrets.
